War Pass Filly

  • War Pass won two Group 1’s in the US including the Breeders Cup Juvenile by a massive 5 lengths!! He was the highest rated two year old in over 30 years.

  • He had an overall record of 7 starts, 5 wins and 1 second with over $1.5m in prize money.

  • His yearlings have sold up to $180,000 in Australia. We bought a War Pass colt at the Magic Millions for $70,000. Now we have a War Pass Filly as well for just $55,000

War Pass is expected to have a big impact on the two year old racing scene next season when his first crop of yearlings hit the track. In a show of faith in his ability, stables such as Gai Waterhouse, David Hayes and the Freedman Bros have all bought yearlings by War Pass this year.

David Pfieffer Racing Stables also expect the War Pass yearlings to be fast, precocious, quality two year olds and have now purchased two of them.

Our filly (pictured above) apart from her hairy winter coat, is built in the same mold as her father War Pass. She has the strength through her shoulder and deep girth that gave War Pass himself blistering two year old power and speed. She also has that long forearm and short cannon bone which gives a horse maximum length of stride.

Her Dam is Ascorbic, winner of 2 races as a two year old and a Group 2 winner of the Edward Manifold Stakes. She also won the Listed Quezette Stakes and placed 2nd in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes. Ascorbic was a quality mare, who possessed the precocity to win races as a two year old and then go and win at Group 2 level as a mare.

Our filly is broken in and is paid up for BOBS and nominated for the 2013 Golden Slipper.
