Three Runners at Wyong today

Round The Corner is in race 1 with Christian Reith to ride from barrier 8. He ran well first up from a spell when finishing 3rd over this track/distance 3 weeks ago. He will have improved in fitness and will be hard to run down.

Little Patrick is in race 7 with Tye Angland to ride from barrier 14. He won well at Cessnock when having his first start for the David Pfieffer stable and has done well in the stables since. This race looks winnable but he will need a little bit of luck from the wide gate. If he can get across and hold a nice position then he will be in the finish.

Lover Of Life is in race 8 with Christian Reith to ride from barrier 4. She has been consistent this preparation but she strikes a pretty solid race for a BM 65. On paper it probably looks a bit tough but she has a good barrier and race fitness on her side.

CONGRATULATIONS to the owners of Sugar Rock, winner at Kembla on Tuesday. He was ridden by David Pfieffer's new apprentice Brodie Loy, so it was great to see Brodie get off to such a great start being entrusted with a first starter by Fastnet Rock. Sugar Rock won his trial by 7 lengths and then won on debut by 2.3 lengths, so he looks like a quality racehorse in the making.
