Superbly bred and great value fillies

We have a variety of horses currently available including yearlings and ready to run two year olds but today I will feature two quality fillies that we purchased from the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale. Both fillies are superbly bred and great value.

Hinchinbrook ex Zago Filly - Look at the photo! These are quality fillies by some of the best stallions around and out of extremely strong female families. Hinchinbrook is a half brother to Snitzel who now stands for $71,500 per service. Hinchinbrook is by Fastnet Rock and he won the Canonbury Stakes and Skyline Stakes as a two year old making him one of the favourites in the Golden Slipper but he ran into Crystal Lily that day finishing 4th beaten 1.6 lengths. He also ran third in the Sires Produce beaten 0.5 lengths. He again ran into a couple of 'smart ones' running 3rd in the William Reid beaten 3.1 lengths by Black Caviar and 2nd in the All Aged to Hay List all at Group 1 level. Yearlings are his oldest progeny and they have been snapped up by some astute buyers. Gai bought 5 of them at the Magic Millions paying up to $250,000. Mick Price, Peter Moody, Gerald Ryan, Paul Perry, Star Thoroughbreds and Champion Thoroughbreds have also purchased yearlings by Hinchinbrook.

We didn't want to just purchase a Hinchinbrook. We purchased a Hinchinbrook out of Zabeel mare, Zago. Zabeel mares are freaks at producing outstanding middle distance horses with great acceleration. Here are just some of his 125 individual stakes winners as a broodmare sire: It's a Dundeel, Darci Brahma, Ocean Park, Silent Achiever, Atlantic Jewel, Samantha Miss, Faint Perfurme, Dear Demi etc All of the horses listed are out of Zabeel mares and they all carry very similar traits, being able to run distance and still have that explosive finish that makes champions. At just $3,000 per 5% our filly is a must.

Savabeel ex America Bay Filly - SOLD

Just have a look and you won't be able to pass her up! She is a quality filly by Savabeel. Savabeel won the Cox Plate as a three year old and is one of New Zealand's leading sires, standing at $55,000 for a service. He had two runners in this years ATC Derby and had third placegetter Lucia Valentina in the ATC Oaks. He is consistently producing top class horses especially at the elite level as three and four year olds. Our filly is out of Fastnet Rock mare, America Bay. She is a three quarter sister to Group 1 Coolmore Stakes winner Nechita.

This filly is outstanding value at just $3,750 per 5%. She has an outstanding pedigree and will be aimed at races like the Oaks.
