Pfieffer's first ever quinella!! Cradle Me favourite for Rosehill

Congratulations to the owners of Little Patrick, winner at Cessnock on Tuesday. He came from Darren Smith's stables and picked up where he left off with a dominant win at Cessnock. It was solid day at Cessnock with a 1st, 2nd and 4th from three runners.
Also congratulations to the owners of Magazine Miss, winner of the QTIS 2yo Hcp at Mackay today. The North Queensland Carnival is on and we managed to get our first ever Quinella with Tune Up Warrior hitting the line hard to finish 2nd beaten a neck. For those of you who have signed up & read the Newsletter and take the tip, today was one day that I can say I got it right. Below is what we said in our previous Newsletter:
Magazine Miss and Tune Up Warrior are in race 1 with Nathan Evans and Anthony Allen to ride from barriers 3 and 11. Both horses ran strong races at Rockhampton last start and look well placed up to 1200m on Thursday. They have really thrived from the trip north and I think they can run the quinella.
RUNNERS
Rosehill Saturday
Cradle Me is in race 7 with Tim Clark to ride from barrier 1. Cradle Me has been in outstanding form this preparation with 2 wins and 1 second from three starts. She is in a suitable race here and has drawn perfectly on the rails. She will be very hard to beat.
Mackay Saturday
Pound On Tubby is in race 3 with Nathan Evan to ride from barrier 12. He has been very consistent but is becoming a bit of a non winner with 1 win and 7 seconds from 22 starts. We've added winkers to try to help him fulfill his potential. He has drawn badly but it's a winnable race so hopefully he can find a nice position and run over the top of them.
New Day Rising is in race 6 with Nathan Evans to ride from barrier 8. He's an old timer who has been very good to the Pfieffer stable but he lost all form and thoughts of retirement were on our minds. We gave him a good spell and he is carrying on like a two year old colt, so we are hoping that will translate to raceday. He has hardly done any work and hasn't trialled despite not racing since January this year. We have kept him very fresh and think that he might have regained his racing spirit as he is giving his rider a very difficult time coming off the track!! We are quietly confident that he is back to his old self.
