David Pfieffer Racing Open Day

Beautiful winter conditions greeted the supporters of the David Pfieffer Racing and it was an upbeat atmosphere for the 2018 Annual Open Day as Richard Haynes ensured we were entertained.

The yearlings purchased throughout the Inglis and Magic Millions Sales were eye catching showing off the pedigree that boasts quality across the board. They paraded well and you couldn’t help but be impressed by what the team have found from the catalogues.

There was a breath of spring after a everybody filled up on the hospitality as the from Bell River Thoroughbreds I AM EXCITED gave us a first hand look at how well she has spelled. She was outstanding last campaign matching it with the likes of Impending and winning 3 straight. Stable favourite PELETHRONIUS also made an appearance showing off that physique that allows him unleash a booming finish as he chases more success on the track.

The Open Day finished with Melbourne Cup winning Corey Brown giving an insight about what it’s like competing at the top level in this country. He kindly organised the signing of his Stradbroke Day riding pants and raised just over $1300 for the National Jockey Trust.

Owners and supporters were then given the thrill of seeing their pride and joy up close with the Warwick Farm barn buzzing with joy. It’s safe to say that the horses didn’t mind all of the attention as they lapped up the pats from their adoring fans.

It’s was such a successful day and it couldn’t have happened without the cohesive team at David Pfieffer Racing who work tirelessly to ensure the horses well being is a top priority.
