Cradle Me guns for 3 wins in a row & 5 runners at Rockhampton Newmarket meeting

 Rockhampton Thursday

Tune Up Warrior is in race 4 with Anthony Allen to ride from barrier 9. He is another two year old on debut who has trialled quite well. He has shown good levels of natural ability but lacks race experience. Extra Shot looks the one to beat

Magazine Miss is also in race 4 with Nathan Evans to ride from barrier 1. She ran well on debut a fortnight ago when finishing 4th beaten 2.3 lengths at Dalby. She has improved from the experience and should be in the money from barrier 1.

Pound On Tubby is in race 6 with Nathan Evans to ride from barrier 11. He has been racing well with two strong finishing second placings at his two runs this preparation. He will be suited by the step up to 1200m and will be hitting the line hard from back in the field. The only danger is Narsons Duke. Strong winning chance.

Knockabout is in race 7 with Nathan Evans to ride from barrier 8. He has been racing in great form and could've won his last two with any luck. He has a 4.8 length win to his name at Doomben and is proving to be a fun $15,000 purchase from the tried horse sale in October last year. He takes on a solid field here in the $75,000 Rockhampton Newmarket with Our Boy Malachi the obvious one to beat. Knockabout will be hitting the line hard and can win.

Papa Gee is in race 8 with Nathan Evans to ride from barrier 13. He has struck two wet tracks at his last two starts and didn't appreciate them. His form prior was fair but it's hard to see him troubling these from the wide barrier. No bets.

Randwick Saturday

Cradle Me is in race 2 with Sam Clipperton to ride from barrier 2. She has been in outstanding form, winning both runs this preparation in impressive fashion. She takes on a tougher field here with Commanding Wit also in strong form. Kristy Lee gets a 2.5kg turnaround on Cradle Me which levels them up and Capital Commander is more than capable on his day. The rest look to struggle. Cradle Me can run a cracking sectional when she's feeling well and she won't be too far back in a 9 horse field, so we expect her to be hard to beat again.
