Randwick Friday

Chestnut Road is in race 8 with Tye Angland to ride from barrier 13. He has never won first up or over 1200m so we aren't expecting too much but his latest trial was very strong and he is going better than ever. He has drawn poorly and will have to get back in the field. If they run along in front he will be powering to the line late. Place chance.

Canterbury Saturday

Cradle Me is in race 6 with Brodie Loy to ride from barrier 11. Cradle Me has picked up two stakes placings this preparation and we would love to get a stakes win for her but she will need luck from the outside gate and a peach of a ride from Brodie to win the Canterbury Classic. The field is full of solid sprinters with Dothraki looking the standout.

Gosford Monday

Humble is in race 3 with Mitchell Bell to ride from barrier 10. Her last run was very good when coming from last to run 3rd. We hope not to be that far back this time as we step up to 1200m. We are in a tricky barrier but we may come in a couple with 5 emergencies in the race so scratchings will change things. Hopefully we come out of about barrier 7 and can get a nice spot midfield. She is an improving filly with natural ability and should be in the finish. Each way bet.
