Boss for Graceful Anna in Stradbroke Handicap

 By Rob Burnet 06 June 2010 Glen Boss’s renowned ability to ride at the very low end of the weight scale has the Group One specialist taking the ride on Canny Lad filly Graceful Anna in Saturday’s $1m, Group One, AAMI Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm. Graceful Anna, trained by David Pfieffer at Warwick Farm, has just 49.5kg in the Stradbroke Handicap. The filly, with 52.5kg under Larry Cassidy and starting from barrier 11, was a good fourth behind Catapulted in the Group Two TCL Electronics QTC Cup (1300m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday. “The barrier will be crucial to Graceful Anna's chances. She needs to draw in, but those light-weighted horses with form always seem to run well in the race,” said Boss.
