 Atmospherical is a great example of the success you can have with a leased horse. She was leased to 12 people and they are having a great ride for minimal investment. We are fairly particular about the horses we offer for lease. There are heaps around but we only do a few each year, trying to pick the best quality horses which we believe will be city class.

We currently have two lease options available:

Artie Schiller ex Enrich Colt - LEASE $300 per 5%

He is a quality colt by a Artie Schiller, sire of Group 1 Rosehill Guineas winner Laser Hawk. He is out of stakes placed mare Enrich. She was a winner as a two year old and went on to be placed at Group 3 level. She is a half sister to Moquette who was also a two year old winner and went on to win at stakes level. Enrich has produced 7 foals to race for 5 winners including stakes placed Wealthy. So there are plenty of winners and stakes performers in the immediate family which gives us the confidence that this colt can be city class. Then take a look at the photo attached. He has scope and strength, a long strong forearm and short solid cannon bone which helps produce a long stride. He has a long barrel which suggests he may get over ground like his brothers and sisters have done, excelling over 1600m and Artie Schiller's other son, Laser Hawk won the Guineas over 2000m. He is going to be broken in today. He is also paid up for the VOBIS. That is included in the fee of $300 per 5%, so there is no more to pay for the next month while he is at the breakers, then ongoing training fees after than average about $175 per month for a 5% share. It's a great value way to get into a quality racehorse for a fraction of the cost.

Star Witness ex Ausbred Silk Filly - LEASE $300 per 5%

She is by hot first season sire Star Witness. We have taken a punt on a few of his stock this year as they are precocious yearlings with plenty of quality and look a lot like their father. We paid $150,000 for a Star Witness Colt at the Magic Millions in January and Gai Waterhouse went to $450,000 to secure a Star Witness colt at the same sale. Star Witness was a Group 1 winner over the sprints as both a two and three year old. He won the Blue Diamond as a two year old then went on to win the Coolmore Stud Stakes down the straight at Flemington over 1200m as a three year old. He raced against the absolute best finsihing 2nd to Black Caviar at Flemington then finishing 2nd and 3rd in the King's Stand and Golden Jubilee in the UK. Our filly is out of Ausbred Silk, who has a 100% strike rate with one foal to race for one winner. This filly will head to the breakers next month and is to be syndicated on the same terms as the Artie Schiller colt. $300 per 5% upfront then an average of $175 per month for ongoing training fees
